Tax benefits for SEZ residents in the Moscow region
In the Moscow region there will be introduced additional tax preferences for residents of special economic zones. During the annual address to the citizens of the region the Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov announced tax holiday on income and property taxes for the residents of SEZ "Dubna”, "Stupino Quadrat", "Istok", located on the territory of the region.

"This year it is planned to put the tax break on the profit tax and the property tax – 0% for first eight years, 5% - next 6 years, then - 13.5%. These measures of tax regulation proposed by the Governor for SEZ residents are revolutionary. There are no better conditions in the regions on the territory of the Russian Federation. We have the largest number of SEZ and now just the most favorable conditions for localisation", - said Deputy Chairman of the Moscow region Government – Minister of investments and innovations of the Moscow region Denis Butsaev.




It will be recalled that in 2015 in the Moscow region there were created two special economic zones – "Stupino Quadrat" and "Istok". In the four months since the creation of SEZ "Stupino Quadrat" there were attracted 5 anchor investors with 5.5 billion rubles investments. 10 resident companies confirm their readiness to localise within the new special economic zone "Istok" in Fryazino, the first businesses will open in 2017. Also in 2015, another 14 companies became the residents of SEZ "Dubna", the total number of residents amounted to 100 companies.

Also as part of the Governor’s speech there was announced a compensation program of capital expenditure on the infrastructure for investors in the industrial sector. Andrei Vorobyov instructed to elaborate the issue related to reimbursement of these costs to those investors in the industry, that in 2016 will launch a business or begin to build ones in the Moscow region.
