The city administration of Izmir, the Turkish Exporters‘ Assembly (TIM), the Turkish Ministry of Economy and the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Trade organize the trade fair.
The central topic of the show in 2017 is “Electronics and Innovation“ and the format of the event includes business meetings, presentations and exhibitions. This year the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade organizes a Russian exhibition on the trade fair in accordance with the decree of Dmitri Medvedev, the Russian Prime Minister, dated 16 March 2017 on the occasion of Russia being the partner country of this year’s trade fair.
The Russian exhibition will be one of the most significant exhibitions on the show on 600 square meters in pavilion №4. The all-Russian booth appears as technological, dynamic and interactive space.
Besides the exhibition an extensive business program will take place. 16-18 August 2017 the Turkish hosts organize Business days in hotel SWISS, where B2B meetings will be held for official representatives and businesspeople.
The key event of the trade show will be the 18 August, the Day of Russia, when a plenary session on the topic “New level of Russian-Turkish cooperation in business“ will be staged. During the event agreements, memoranda, protocols of intent and other documents, regarding the development of Russian-Turkish business cooperation, shall be signed.
Furthermore, during the Day of Russia a round table will be held on the topic “Special Economic Zones in Russia and free zones in Turkey“ in order to present investment opportunities in Russian SEZ for Turkish investors. Marina Volkova, representing the SEZ Stupino Quadrat, explains opportunities for localization and foundation of production sites and shares success stories of foreign investors.
