Regulatory regulation of industrial parks in the Russian Federation

On January 24, 2020, the all-Russian meeting "Regulatory regulation of industrial parks in the Russian Federation" will be held. As part of the event, Timur Tsupikov, Director, Business Development of SEZ Stupino Quadrat, will take the initiative of domestic SEZs to make changes to the mechanism for confirming the production of industrial products in Russia (Made in Russia).

According to Ekaterina Evdokimova, Managing partner of SEZ Stupino Quadrat, Russian legislation already offers very attractive conditions for SEZ residents in the form of taxes and customs benefits, simplified bureaucratic procedures and, most important, guarantees that the rules of the game will remain unchanged for 10 years.
"If the privileges for residents in special economic zones are supplemented with a clear and transparent procedure for obtaining the status of a Russian product, then the attractiveness of the SEZ Institute itself for manufacturers and the effectiveness of special economic zones of industrial and production type will increase significantly. This is very appropriate, on the one hand, taking into account the funds that the state has already spent on creating infrastructure at these sites, on the other hand, the need for import substitution and an increase in exports in key sectors of domestic industry," – said Ekaterina Evdokimova.
During the meeting, it is planned to discuss the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin on industrial and techno parks, review the proposals of members of the Association on regulatory regulation of industrial parks, issues of financial and non-financial mechanisms for supporting industrial parks and legislative initiatives.
The meeting is organized by the Association of industrial parks of Russia together with the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation.
